Introduction:
This is a specialized university preparatory program for students who have completed their Secondary School. The program allows students to meet up the strict entry requirements of the world’s top universities and colleges. It transforms adventurous and open-minded students into global citizens.
Program Period:
One (1) year Program.
Start dates -September and January.
Course Description:
High school graduates in the Canadian province of Ontario are awarded the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD). This will issued to every student who completes the Ontario curriculum program.
Requirements For Earning The OSSD:
The OSSD is the secondary school graduation diploma required to enter universities in Canada. It is also accepted worldwide. It is required for a student to earn a minimum of 30 credits, including 18 compulsory credits and 12 optional credits. Students must also complete 40 hours of community involvement activities and must pass the Ontario Secondary School Literacy Test (OSSLT), or successfully complete the Ontario Secondary School Literacy Course (OSSLC).
About The OSSLT:
For secondary school students or graduates who want to receive the Ontario Secondary School Diploma, the Ontario Secondary School Literacy Test (OSSLT) is a required standardised test (OSSD). It is used to evaluate the reading and writing abilities of students. In place of this, you can complete the Ontario secondary literacy course.
